Real Madrid-Osasuna

Whites want a tenth straight win before the league break due to international matches

Real Madrid wish to win the last of their games since the last league break. Nuri Sahin has made Mourinho's squad list for tomorrow's match against Osasuna at the Bernabeu, which will take place at an unprecedented 12:00 CET at the stadium. The last time the Whites played at that time was against Rayo Vallecano as visitors and won 5-1.
Since the last league stoppage Real Madrid have defeated Betis (4-1), Olympique Lyonnais (4-0), Malaga (0-4), Villarreal (3-0), Real Sociedad (0-1) and Lyonnais again (0-2).

Real have a chance to earn a tenth straight victory this season, something Jose Mourinho previously achieved with Porto back in the 2002/03 campaign. The manager expects his team to keep up the defensive work that's helped it stand undefeated in the first four games of the UCL group stage and to keep a clean sheet in five straight games.

Nuri Sahin is the newest face on the squad list, having recovered from the Grade II sprain he suffered on the internal lateral ligament of his right leg. Arbeloa and youth goalkeeper Mejias have also made the cut, while the injured Carvalho, Marcelo and Kaka will miss the clash. Granero and Altintop have been dropped.

Osasuna sustain the injuries of Echaide, Masoud, Roversio, Lamah, Raitala, Marc Bertran, Sergio and Sola. Cejudo is suspended for the match. The long list of absences has given the academy's Marcos, Satrustegui and Manu a place on the list.

The northern side is having a solid season and are just two points shy of Europa League qualifying positions. Osasuna have only lost two of their ten games this year and Real Madrid will try their best to make it a third.
