Di Maria and Ozil are the top assist-men in the championship

Real Madrid served their 50th assist in La Liga this season in the match against Levante through Coentrao, who's pass was finished off by Cristiano Ronaldo as he scored the team's 4,000th goal at the Bernabeu. Ronaldo himself assisted Benzema minutes later in the team's fourth strike. Mourinho's team has only needed 23 games to reach the 50 mark, therefore averaging 2.32 assist per game.
Real Madrid have served 12 assists more than Barcelona, twice more than Athletic Bilbao and five times more than Granada, who are currently tenth on the assists ranking.

Real Madrid's best mark this season is serving five assists in one game, doing so in the 6-2 away win over Sevilla and in the 7-1 home victory against Osasuna. Di Maria gave a masterful performance in the latter, assisting his team-mates three times in under 30 minutes. Ozil assisted Benzema twice and Sergio Ramos once in the 5-1 victory over Granada at the Bernabeu.
