Real Madrid have topped the table for more than two thirds of the league season

Jose Mourinho's side has been in first place 15 of 22 weeks of the championship (68.5 %), staying on top for the last 13 weeks

Real Madrid's regularity is one of the secrets to their success in La Liga this season. The Whites have been topping the table 13 straight weeks and a total 15 out of the 22 already held in the championship, meaning they've been leaders for more than two thirds of the league season (68.5% to be exact).
It's hardest to stay at the top than to reach it, and Real Madrid are doing so in stellar fashion holding a 10-point cushion over runners-up Barcelona in La Liga. They score 3.5 goals per match and concede only 0.9. Last season, they topped the table six straight weeks, between Weeks 7 and 12; they were only leaders three times in the 2009/10 season, in Weeks 3, 5 and 11; and they never topped the table in the 2008/09 campaign. Jose Mourinho is making the team earn its best numbers in four seasons in the Spanish league.

The ten point-lead over Barcelona allows Reeal Madrid to continue topping the table three more weeks, but their great run anticipates it will be very hard for them to drop positions.
