Real Madrid continues to rejuvenate itself with innovation and looking into the future. Proof of this is the remodelling project for the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and the improvements planned for Real Madrid City at Valdebebas. These two major construction works are aimed at strengthening the club's status as a leading worldwide football entity.
The Santiago Bernabeu Stadium is set to become one of the most modern football venues in the planet. It's façade will be modified to feature a state-of-the-art design and the venue itself will have leisure facilites and restaurants integrated in its structure. President Florentino Perez described the ambitious project as "providing our stadium with an outer skin that will be a crowning architectural achievement. The Bernabeu has to become a unique stadium, the best in the world, and the crowning achievement of 21st Century stadium architrecture."
The Bernabeu has been the place where Madridistas have enjoyed their team's success since it opened in December 1947. Intending to keep the venue as a temple for Madridismo, the remodellation will continue to feature the Stadium Tour and Museum, but a new parking lot for 1,000 vehicles will also be featured, access points will be reformed, and all seats will be roofed.

Halls of residence for first team and academy players are projected for Real Madrid City in order to make pre-match gatherings more comfortable for the former and to better accomodate the club's future stars.
