Karanka: "We have to win tomorrow and show just how strong we are at home"

"We have to continue thinking the most imminent game is always most important and focus on ourselves, which has been working for us till now"

Assistant coach Aitor Karanka talked to the press ahead of tomorrow's match against Valencia.
"We have to win tomorrow and show just how strong we are at home. Most of the squad is active and we've reached this far thanks to its efforts."

"We've topped the table most of the season thanks to the job we're doing and everything we are achieving. We must continue thinking the most imminent game is most important and focus on ourselves, which has been working for us till now."

"Valencia will cause trouble for us because they have great players and a great coach. They always replace those who leave with excellent signings and that's why they're third on the table and currently playing the Europa League semifinals. It will be a complicated match. They used to be more relaxed in third place a few weeks ago, but other teams are pressuring them now and they will make things very difficult for us."

"Di Maria played 10 minutes in Pamlona and 35 against APOEL. He's ready for more, but we've yet to determine if he can start tomorrow. He is an important player who's been injured a long time. He's recovered for the most important stage of the season and we hope he gives us all we expect him to."

"The coach said what everyone thinks about Barcelona's favouritism in the Champions League. Frankly, they are playing very well and are in top form. They are favourites again."
