Karanka: "We will play the same way we did in our last three games at the Camp Nou"

"Statistics and numbers show this team is giving spectacle, and that's why I believe it deserves to win the championship"

Assistant coach Aitor Karanka talked to the press ahead of tomorrow's 20:00 CET clash with Barcelona at the Camp Nou.
"We will play the same way we did in our last three games at the Camp Nou. We did everything in our power in three different championships and gave good performances. We drew and scored three goals. Our attitude doesn't have to be any different tomorrow."

"I believe the three points at stake are important because there fewer games left in the competition. Whatever the score, four games will remain and we'll continue to work as naturally as we've been doing so far. Win, draw or lose, this team is doing a very good job this year and we will keep it up. Tomorrow's match is as important as all the rest that remain. Barcelona are our most immediate opponent and taking points against them is important, but there are five games left in the championship and we will continue fighting to the end."

"This team's attitude both on and off the pitch is fantastic and that's why we've earned these numbers. We've sometimes failed to do more due to things that are beyond our control."

"Having a chance to break the 107 goal record is important and historic. Goals are synonymous of spectacle in football, therefore they're important. Statistics and numbers show this team is giving spectacle, and that's why I believe it deserves to win the championship."

"The team isn't tired. We've sustained suspensions and rotations on occasion. I truly believe the team isn't tired, especially for a  match like the one we'll play tomorrow. The entire squad is ready to play and that is very important. It is essential to have them all in full form in the little that remains of the season."

"Di Maria and Ozil are fit to play as starters tomorrow because they trained well today. They are great players. Di Maria was injured for a long time and it's normal for people to compare his current form with the great performances he gave before being injured. There's nothing I can say about Ozil that no one knows so far. I believe they can both be very important for us tomorrow."

"The match has every ingredient to be appealing. Two great squads will come face to face and there will be an amazing atmosphere at the stadium. I hope everything unfolds normally and that people are satisfied with these ingredients. I want everyone to see a good game."
